6) Create static slides in your map

  • You can create static slides that can bring you over death terrain by moving you at a certain speed. Static slides only work from slide terrain (not from walk terrain). To make these static slides type "-createStaticSlide ‹angle› ‹speed›" (-crss) and perform 4 right clicks. The first two right clicks are for the start of the static slide. This will make a line. The last two rightclicks is for the end of the static slide. This will also make a line.
  • If you want to allow the slider to return from the static slide you need to make another static slide the other way. If you do that make sure the end of the static slides is past the start of the other static slide.
  • To visualize where you put your static slides type "-dr 1". This turns on debug regions. To turn off debug regions type "-dr 0".
  • Normally a static slide makes you unable to move. However, if you want the slider to be able to turn on a static slide you have to type "-setStaticSlideCanTurnAngle ‹angle›" (-setsscta) and select the static slide you want to change the angle for. If you don't want the slider to be able to make circles or dance around on the static slide you have to give an angle higher than 0 and lower than 90. That way he will always go forward. If you give a higher angle than 90 the slider is able to turn around on the static slide. An angle of 0 is the default (you cannot turn then). Note that if you take a static slide and go outside the bounds you will die.
  • To remove static slides you can type "-deleteStaticSlide" (-delss) and click on one of the four corners of the static slide. If one corner doesn't work try another.
